Konstnärernas Riksorganisation (the Artists’ Association of Sweden) was founded in 1937 and represents 3,500 professional visual artists, craftsmen, and designers in Sweden. The Association is the only organization in Sweden working as a trade union to protect visual and design artists' professional, economic, and social interests.

Today, it is just as natural for Swedish craftspeople and visual artists to exhibit and sell their art internationally as in Sweden. But what may seem like a great opportunity may become much more complicated than one might think. There are several essential issues to consider and a few pitfalls to avoid. How should you transport your art? How should you pack your art? What insurance should you have? How will your art be taken care of and presented during the exhibition? During Stockholm Craft Week, The Artists' Association of Sweden (Konstnärernas Riksorganisation) will launch an updated version of the "Art for Export" guide. It will be launched with a breakfast seminar in collaboration with Svensk Form where export experts and craftspeople share their experiences.
