Stengårds Metall

Maya Stengårds Jonsson is trained silversmith and bell founder in Sweden, the United Kingdom, Estonia, and Belgium, where she earned a degree in Jewellery Design from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp. She works with sculptures and jewellery, primarily in silver and iron – metals she believes possess an inherent voice that is released in contact with the wearer.

Tin Tin Tinnitus

Smiths, sculptors, composers and musicians will show different objects – each of them related to bells. From different types of materials, these come together as a a Carillion – a new sort of bell instrument. This instrument will be performed on, during the exhibition by composer and performer Malte Dag Rödström.
