Slipvillan

Slipvillan is an artist-run cultural center focusing on art and craft, located on Långholmen. The upper floor of the red house contains several studios, while the ground floor is used for exhibitions, artist-in-residence programs, projects, and other events. During summer, the garden is also used for exhibitions.

I varandras händer

The exhibition presents works by three craft artists who have come together in a collaborative endeavor, using their respective material foundation. At the core is the question of what happens when an artwork takes shape through a collective process. Rather than emphasizing individual creation, the work relies on mutual interdependence, where each artist influences and is influenced. In a contemporary age marked by fragmentation and rigid stances, attention is directed toward what emerges when differences are allowed to operate together. For opening hours, see Slipvillan's website.
