P.A.N.G.

The artist collective P.A.N.G. has existed since 2019 and today consists of eight professionals in the field of fine embroidery and textile art. The members have different backgrounds, education and experiences, but are united in the belief that collaboration is the way forward. P.A.N.G. stands for Professional Artists’ Needlework Group and reflects the members’ passion for needle and thread and the desire to give the craft a natural place in both the art world and the public space.

From February 2 to December 31, 2026, the members of P.A.N.G. are sharing a workspace within the framework of The Crafts Centre's residency program, Artist-in-Office. Throughout the year, an ongoing project will see the eight members interpret female authors through textiles, featuring poets, short story writers, novelists, children's book authors, and essayists.
