Lucie Gottlieb

Lucie Gottlieb works with traditional stained-glass techniques. She aims to go back to the original purpose of this craft: to depict stories, guiding individuals through cycles of transition, death and rebirth. She draws from symbols and figurative narratives, weaving together strands of fables, folklore, and mythologies; stirring the dust, revisiting familiar grounds and bridging old storytelling traditions with contemporary reflections on transformation and coexistence.

Soupir

In the exhibition, glass artist Lucie Gottlieb presents dreamlike visions inspired by medieval prophetic imagery, bringing fragments of warnings and revelations to life. Through uncanny narratives where tensions between play and violence, tenderness and power are at play, the boundaries between species, bodies, and states of being remain uncertain.
