Lisa Wallert

Through ceramic sculpture, artist Lisa Wallert creates material and spatial processes that actualises the body, presence, absence, and the transience of all things. She draws inspiration from anatomical studies and pop-cultural phenomena such as horror, Sci-Fi, and Black Metal music, as well as forms and situations in nature that are neither good nor evil, and where life cannot exist without death.
