As a curator Linus Ersson wants to create space for dialogue between art forms, materials, and politics through exhibitions, performances, and workshops. It is a dynamic platform for free expression and experimentation, where professional makers get a chance to develop and the public can engage more closely with art and craft. The ambition is to create an inclusive and accessible space that challenges pretension and norms.

Performances - Phantasy & Politics

During the opening of the exhibition Phantasy & Politics, there will be live music and a dance performance. At 8 PM the group Facenag will play their mix of DIY pop, lo-fi punk, no-wave, and garage rock (but without guitars). At 9.30 PM, Freddy Houndekindo, dancer, choreographer and artist, will perform the solo piece “Fragment – Prison/Prophet Fantasy”, built around the physical and psychological reality of athletes, and exploring masculinity as a cultural system shaped by endurance, sacrifice, self-discipline, and the pursuit of strength.

Phantasy and Politics

A phantasmatic and handmade kick in the butt of political hegemonies, cancel culture and inbred artificial intelligence stating how you should be, what you should think, and what you should look like. Linus Ersson invites you to a group exhibition with artists who want to say “yes” to dreams, to test new ideologies and visions of a more diverce, including and colorful future. A ideation with no demands and that doesn’t point to problems but dares to say something that hasn’t been said before: big or small, abstract or figurative, realistic or unrealistic. Phantasy and Politics

In connection with the exhibition Phantasy and Politics, a panel discussion will be held featuring two of the exhibiting artists: Zandra Ahl and Sanem Odabaşı, an artist, researcher, and author from Turkey. Additional participants may be added. The discussion will be moderated by the exhibition's curator, Linus Ersson. The language of the event is English.
