Le Paradis Fantastique

In this Stockholm Craft Week special of Konsthantverkspodden, the theme of collaboration is in focus. The podcast meets Marie Grima, conservator at Moderna Museet, and artist Lauro Höring, who together worked on restoring seven metal sculptures from Le Paradis Fantastique – a monumental sculpture group created by Jean Tinguely and Niki de Saint Phalle in 1967. This represents a unique collaboration spanning several years between a museum, a conservator, a contemporary artist, and a deceased artist. The question is: How do you actually conserve works that were originally designed to erode?
