Konstfack University of Arts Craft and Design was founded in 1844 and is Sweden’s largest university specializing in art, craft and design. Each year, around 900 students participate in bachelor, master and doctoral studies, teacher training and professional courses. The department of Jewelry & Corpus: Ädellab is focused on areas of knowledge originating from gold- and silversmithing.

Current students and new graduates from Konstfack BA programme Smycke och Corpus: Ädellab respond to Hallwylska Museum’s collections through their work. In the exhibition, works made over the past three years are set in dialogue with Hallwylska’s historic house, making visible narratives and possibilities of what jewellery and corpus are and can be.
