Flock

Flock is an craft artist group working across boundaries with various techniques and materials such as ceramics, shellac, glass, textiles, and tin. The group meets regularly to exchange thoughts and ideas, and together, they explore themes from their own perspectives. Flock consists of craft artists: Anna-Klara Samuelsson, Fernanda Melgarejo, Minna Rombo Zetterlund, Anna Lo Bergmark, Lisa Fält, and Tilda Dalunde.

Time—poetically described as a merciless thief, scientifically explained as the fourth dimension, and in everyday life seen as a valuable and limited resource – is one of the universe's greatest mysteries. Is time linear, cyclical, simultaneous, or eternal? How can we capture the passage of time? How is chronology created among our memories when we look back on things we have experienced? In this era of time-famine, is it possible to have enough time?

This year, the craft group in Flock has chosen to work with time as a unifying theme. Just like in previous years, the work on the exhibition's design is a central part of their final result. They interpret the theme individually based on their own practices and then work together on the exhibition as a form.
