Flock

The craft collective Flock consists of six craft artists working across boundaries with various techniques, using materials such as ceramics, shellac, glass, textiles, and pewter. The group meets regularly to exchange thoughts and ideas, exploring themes together through their own individual perspectives. For this year’s Stockholm Craft Week, Flock is collaborating with the band Osmerald, consisting of musicians Jerker Österlind and Victor Galeano, who have created specially composed music for the exhibition.

Adrift

Somewhere between flow and stillness, the world slips free from its moorings. Adrift.
Inspired by this theme, Flock and Osmerald explore states of displacement and uncertainty. What does it mean to be in motion without a fixed direction – to drift, float, or temporarily lose one's footing? What new possibilities, new ways of seeing, remembering, and finding our bearings emerge when the stories we tell about ourselves begin to dissolve, transform, and the structures that once anchored us no longer hold? Perhaps it is only when we let go that we discover drifting, too, is a kind of direction.
