Textile artist Carina Marklund invites the viewer into a world of dreams and reflections on humanity’s place in nature. A recurring theme throughout her artistic practice is the depiction of the relationship between humans, nature, and our own existence.

Founded in 1874 Handarbetets Vänner is a center for advanced textile craft and design. In the unique studio, large-scale textile art is produced for various places. At Handarbetets Vänners school tomorrow's textile artisans are educated and in their gallery the breadth of textile art crafts is showcased to the public.
