Managed by silversmiths Caroline Lindholm and Helena Sandström, Atelier Ädelsmide is a platform for contemporary craft with gallery, shop and studio for jewellery and holloware. The workshop dates back to the 1940s when legendary silversmith Sigurd Persson started it.

Welcome to Atelier ädelsmide, a more than 80-year old silversmithy run by Caroline Lindholm and Helena Sandström. In their 30 minute-talk, they will tell us a little about the history of the smithy, how it is to work as a silversmith today and what inspires them in their artistic practise. The big work table will be filled with a collage of sketches, material tests and inspirational objects to see and in the gallery their finished jewellery pieces and silver objects will be on display and they will take us through the creation process of some of them.
