A third of the Swedish mires are found in Norrbotten. In the exhibition "Tunneks sie jänkän" the textile artist Ida Isak Westerberg collaborates with the mire and uses it as a space to explore and evolve identity. The exhibiton is a part of a larger body of work in which the artist explores the multi facetted wetlands with its biodiversity, tales, folklore and symbolism through tactile, sculptural weaves.
