Anders Jakobsen calls himself a 'radical sloydist' and has, since 2003, worked on redesigning the designs of others as a critique of consumer society and its overproduction of unnecessary goods. In 2008, he founded HIR (Hede Institute of Radicalsloyd) in Härjedalen, where he explores a non-academic approach to design and escapes having to conform to others' boundaries of what is considered correct.

Anders 'Radicalsloyd' Jakobsen opens the doors to his home, which also serves as his experimental workshop. Here, there is no boundary between work and everyday life – according to him, both are built on similar principles: observation, adaptability, and physical interaction. Unique works available for purchase. Drop in for a glass of homebrewed ginger beer and a conversation with an artist at work. Limited space. Please note that a cat also lives in this home.
