The artist collective Mörkret consists of seven material-based artists and craft makers who live and work in Dals Långed. Formed in 2023, the group includes Beata Alfredsson Grahn, Klara Bothén, Anni Foglert, Karin Granstrand, Karolina Hägg, Jonas Olsson, and Simon Westling. Their practices encompass a wide range of techniques and materials, primarily within metal and textile.

In this exhibition, the art collective Mörkret interprets night blindness as a contemporary metaphor – a condition in which it has become difficult to discern light in a world shaped by worry, conflict, uncertainty and darkness. Through materials such as textiles and metal, the collective explores what happens to our vision as the darkness closes in. What do we see – and what do we stop seeing? Is it the light that disappears, or our ability to perceive it?
