Kungsholmens Kulturhus is a venue for culture, creativity and community life. Here, associations, artists, dancers, chess players and many others come together to meet, create and inspire one another. The goal is to promote cultural and democratic encounters and to help make Kungsholmen even more vital by creating meeting spaces both in our premises and throughout the area. The activities are run by Kungsholmens föreningsråd with support from Stockholms stad and Kungsholmens stadsdelsnämnd.

Kungsholmens Kulturhus presents a group exhibition featuring seven artistic practices, centered around widely varying materials and expressions. The different practices create a dialogue between the qualities of the materials and the artists' personal expressions, highlighting the breadth of contemporary craft.

Using a haiku poem as a foundation, Anne Külper presents a performance piece in front of the weave "Red Gate" (Röd port) by Camilla Skorup. A unique encounter between dance and craft emerges here; an exploration of existing both inside and outside.
