Händernas Poesi

In the shop windows at Konsthantverkarna wood artist Ann Karlholm presents a mini exhibition where each object acts as a storyteller and memory keeper. Karlholm's work is rooted in her love for the material. The choice of wood sets the tone and feeling, while the forms and details she sketches interact with each other, speaking a silent language. Each object carries its own stories, which sometimes become visible, sparking associations and conversations with the viewer. Karlholm is a cabinetmaker who trained at Carl Malmsten's workshop school and has been working in Stockholm since her graduation in 1991.
