Masters of Craft x Djupet

Fourteen artists from different countries and generations, all graduates of Konstfack’s master program CRAFT! in the spring of 2025, come together in a joint exhibition for Sthlm Craft Week 2025. Working primarily with ceramics, glass, textiles and jewellery, they show the width of contemporary craft, from the conceptual to the tactile. A polyphonic whole where material, identity, the future and the contemporary intertwine.

Patetfisk & Bakterien

Experience a performance where beats meet words like the hand meets a material.
Patetfisk (Sigge Lindberg) crafts soundscapes with precision, patience, and sensitivity. Raw materials polished and refined until it carries the right weight and texture. This intertwines with Bakterien’s (Eliot Cuzner) spoken word-like rap, becoming the engraving on the surface that creates meaning and context.

The result is raw yet refined, infused with the presence and risk that come from leaving the process visible. Together they create works shaped before the audience’s eyes and ears, where every loop is a thread, every phrase an ornament, and every pause a breath. An experience not only to be heard but to be felt. A living piece of craftsmanship, unique to this evening.

Through My Stripes / Stripes for Peace (II)

Following it's first iteration at Extension Art Space in August 2025, "Through My Stripes / Stripes for Peace – Part II" continues the exploration of the stripe as a raw, human gesture. A mark of memory, pain, and healing. Through the quiet action of stripe-making, the work invites the audience/participants to share a contemplative space, where each stripe drawn becomes part of a growing archive of presence and care. The stripe, born from drawing sessions with the artist’s father during his early stages of dementia — remains central. As does the biblical references to Christ’s wounds.

Videovisning Wictor Bernhard

In addition to the participation in the exhibition Wictor Bernhard invites you to a screening of video works in which he explores the juxtapositions between physical and digital media. Through a meticulous process reminiscent of collage, the work unfolds into a structured chaos.

Wictor Bernhard holds an MFA in Ceramics and Glass from Konstfack, University of Arts, Crafts & Design, in Stockholm. He frequently works with recycled and found materials to challenge conventional ideas of value, materiality, and function. His artistic practice spans sculpture, installation, video, photography, interior design, and craft. Wictor Bernhard has participated in exhibitions at institutions such as Millesgården, Hantverkets Vänner, The Glass Factory, Sven-Harry’s Art Museum and Den Fantastiska Platsen.

Masters of Craft x Djupet

Fourteen artists, fourteen voices, fourteen ways of understanding what craft is today. The exhibition brings together works by recent graduates from Konstfack’s master program CRAFT! Ceramics with traces of both tradition and experimentation, glass that stretches boundaries between fluids and solids, textile that explore body, time, and movement, and jewellery and metalwork that carry stories. Some work investigatively, others more intuitively or playfully; some pieces lean toward installation or conceptual work, others toward the tactile and functional. Together, it reveals craft as a practice in constant evolution. Rooted in knowledge, yet always moving toward the new. A reminder that craft isn't static or bound by tradition but a living practice where hand, thought, and material meet.
