Karin Gustavsson’s artistic practice is rooted in textile materials and techniques. Her work is tactile, experimental, and exploratory, focusing on the encounters between hard and soft materials. Since the 1990s, she has exhibited both in Sweden and internationally, as well as taught and lectured within the field of textile art.

Visitors are welcomed to Karin Gustavsson’s studio in Solberga. Experience the creative process firsthand and engage in conversations about the power of materials. Gustavsson will showcase the projects "The Felted Experiment" and "Det har börjat fransa sig" (It Has Begun to Fray) – works where raw wool and textiles meet concrete, wood, and clay in narratives of material, memory, and identity. For those interested, there will also be an opportunity to try out the felting technique using water, friction, and bare hands.
