The exhibition "Snöra" (Lace) takes its inspiration from the corset, a garment that captivates artisans Malin Pierre and Fanny Ollas. Historically, the corset has confined, restricted, and reshaped its wearer. Yet, it has also been, and still is, widely used in haute couture as a symbol of both sex and elegance. The corset, as a theme, is not just a historical symbol but also a reflection on our complex views of the human body. By combining traditional techniques with modern forms of expression, the duo creates works that both tell a story and provide a powerful visual experience.
