Curator Abir Boukhari founded Extension Art Space in 2023 as a platform dedicated to supporting artistic production and the development of ongoing practices. The space places particular emphasis on research-driven processes and solo exhibitions, fostering conditions for sustained artistic inquiry and focused presentation.

In the textile exhibition "Memories of Stockholm"a series of tactile records of the city’s architecture and shifting seasonal atmospheres, experienced through the senses of a familiar stranger. Rather than simply representing the city, the works transform its external order into a personal narrative. Through the soft, layered surfaces of weaving, the city moves from an objective space to an intimate place. The slow process reflects an attentive relationship with an unfamiliar environment and invites slow looking as an alternative to the rapid visual culture of the digital age.
