Millesgården Museum is one of Sweden's largest works of art, located high up on Lidingö in a terraced sculpture park with fountains, flower plantings and an expansive view of Stockholm. In 1936, the place was given as a gift to the Swedish people by the sculptor Carl Milles who lived and worked here together with his artist wife Olga. In addition to the artists' home, antique collection and sculpture park, the museum also houses a large art gallery with temporary exhibitions.
