The Stockholm Crafts Association was founded in 1847 as a manifestation of the importance of good craftsmanship in modern society, and is today a lively gathering place for skilled craftsmen who contribute to sustainable production, quality and beauty. The Stockholm Crafts Association, with Li Pamp as CEO, brings together more than 300 different craft professions and trains the craftsmen of the future in around 80 professions at the association's vocational college Hantverksakademin.

At Sibyllegatan 19, the results of a cross-border project project are being shown. Members of Stockholms Hantverksförening – specialists in craft – have explored what they can achieve together with architects and designers. New thoughts and ideas emerged during the process, and the six collaborative groups have tested what the professional skills of the different guilds can contribute to a shared creative process. On Friday, October 3, there will be a public conversation with the exhibitors led by Li Pamp (see separate program).

It's a golden meeting when gilder Per Larsson and architect Thomas Sandell put their clever heads together. Listen to a conversation about historical references in a modern era, about relief carving, inlay and gold leaf techniques. There is room for 40 people in the venue – first come, first served!
