Berenice Hernández is educated in ceramics and glass at Konstfack. Originally from Mexico, she invites artists from her former homeland and from Sweden to exhibit during Stockholm Craft Week. Together, they initiate dialogues about the foundations of artistic practice and how one finds their center – in life, in a country, in a sculpture, in an identity.

Dissipation point

Dissipation Point brings together five artists – Anabel Alarcón, Juan Villavicencio, Jerónimo Sainz, Jenny Käll, and Andreas Sjöblom – curated by Berenice Hernández. From Mexico and Sweden, the exhibition traces lines across distant geographies, memories, and digital encounters. Though rooted in different contexts and sensibilities, their practices converge through shared questions of orientation, dislocation, and imagination. Supported by the Swedish Arts Council.

Dissipation point

A conversation with the five artists of Dissipation Point—Anabel Alarcón, Juan Villavicencio, Jerónimo Sainz, Jenny Käll, and Andreas Sjöblom—together with curator Berenice Hernández. The exhibition brings together practices from Mexico and Sweden, tracing geographies, memories, and digital encounters. Rooted in different contexts yet converging through shared questions of orientation, dislocation, and imagination, the artists will reflect on their work, processes, and the dialogues sparked by the exhibition. The artist talk will be in English.
