With a focus on material-based art and design, Steneby Konsthall organizes both exhibitions and events. The art gallery invites national and international creatives to Dals Långed, connecting their work and research to the courses at Stenebyskolan and HDK-Valand Campus Steneby.

When Steneby konsthall appears in Stockholm, two artists who have not met before meet; on paper they have a background at Stenebyskolan in common, but perhaps that is not the only thing? Sunna Hansdóttir combines painting and textile art in works that often literally venture outside their frames, based on the materiality of the woven canvas. Sunna began her education in Textile Art/Design at Steneby, and subsequently has both a bachelor's and master's degrees in textile art from Konstfack. Jewelry artist Lotta Snijder reveals the beauty of the body's organs, often forgotten or overlooked, and creates a dialogue between the corporeal and the artificial. Lotta has a bachelor's degree from HDK-Valand 2020 and has previously completed a preparatory education in Object/Jewelry Art at Steneby.
