Jewellery Archives

The Studio at Tegnérgatan opened up 20 years ago as a goldsmith's workshop and a studio focusing on female crafts. In 2025, the studio entered a new phase under the project "Jewellery Archives" with a focus on more exploratory activities, objects and exhibitions. The studio wants to highlight social issues, jewelry history and contemporary crafts.

Protective Jewellery

In turbulent times, people have often searched for talismans or amulets that can instill a sense of power and strength. In "Protective jewellery," an exhibition with contemporary female artisans, the exhibitors have delved into the concept of talismans and explored their hidden properties. Which symbols today can give us a sense of security and hope for the future? And which historical objects can be developed into contemporary expressions?

Tillverka din egen Talisman

In turbulent times, people have often searched for talismans or amulets that can give a sense of power and strength. During the last day of Stockholm Craft Week, you have the opportunity to create your own protective talisman, together with Aviva Scheiman and Marie-Helene Bornhall at Jewellery Archives. Consider which symbols feel important and empowering to you. Which symbols instill a sense of security and hope for the future? On-site, you can sketch out an idea and create your own symbol in metal.
