Parallel Collective : Parallel Collective Gallery is a platform and exhibition space for art, crafts, creativity, and innovation. They collaborate with progressive artists across various disciplines, and during Stockholm Craft Week an experimental textile project will be on display. Linda Nurk: Textile artist Linda Nurk creates organic works from urban micro-cultivation, moving in the borderland between textile, mixed media, and performance. With her alter-ego "The Mad Silkworm Lady," she aims to make viewers feel a closeness to the materials we surround ourselves with and to create community with living organisms that transcend cultural and social boundaries.

Textile artist Linda Nurk meets the audience through her alter ego The Silkworm Lady in a conversation about the ritual performance Caterpillar Girl Diaries – where textile, transformation, and rave are woven together. The artist talk is led by Sharrat Cherry, co-founder of the exhibition concept Ver Sacrum. After the artist talk, you are invited to the exhibition's closing reception.

Linda Nurk presents an exhibition performance where textile, transformation, and ritual rave collide. As her silkworms hum beneath layers of raw silk, the Mad Silkworm Lady (Nurk’s alter-ego) begins her metamorphosis into Caterpillar Girl. In a world that tames both moth and woman, she reclaims the larval stage – where skin was velvet, days were long, and dreaming was a survival act. The performance unfolds with projections, silkworm soundscapes, and a textile installation that invites visitors into a tribal session of entanglement and emergence. By night: ritual in rhythm. By day: a cocooned sanctuary woven for stillness, pause, and pollination.
