Mine is Mine

In the video work "Mine is Mine" members of the art group Tontouristen Kollektiv have returned to the German region of Westerwald – an area rich in clay – to explore the massive industry that clay extraction constitutes in these parts. Through playful interventions, imagined fantasies, and unscientific methods, they have navigated various layers of history and believe they have come closer to understanding the complexity of the place.

"Who has the greatest right to take something? Does anyone have the right to take something? How else can we move forward, survive, create?
