Det är svårt att se det som inte finns

The Gothenburg-based ceramicist Marianne Hallberg has been active since the early 1980s. In this exhibition she has depicted everyday objects and inner images in her characteristic style, most often in white tin glaze with cobalt blue decorations.

"I try to do what comes to mind, I hope it will be a simple entertainment. A revue of what comes to mind in stoneware. I love bowls and casseroles. It's fun to draw, you can draw anything. Utility ceramics and Pictures." / Marianne Hallberg

Watery Poetics

In the exhibition "Watery Poetics" the craft group Supportive Structure presents ceramic objects as water carriers, knitted wool objects in transformation, a seashell suit, and the work behind the film project "Sea Shell Lore." Immersed in the gentle sounds of the sea, visitors are invited to experience a space for reflection. Supportive Structure consists of the artists Alexandra Johansson, Beatrice Alvestad Lopez, Lizzie Abbot, and Matilda Envall, whose practices range from ceramics to textiles, stop-motion film, and performance.
