Run by artisans Agnes Larsson and Maki Okamoto the Smedjan Blackeberg was established in 2022. In their studio workshop you can take part in exhibitions as well as metal courses organized for both children and adults. The idea is that Smedjan Blackeberg work as a platform to promote, expand, and connect the local artisan community with the central one. This is a place where people can come together and work with metal in a shared experience of craftsmanship.

Throughout the year, Agnes and Maki, the creators behind Smedjan Blackeberg, have drawn inspiration from and crafted jewelry based on the theme of bees, how they live, and work together. How they contribute to our Earth. During Stockholm Craft Week 2023 the results are on display in a joint exhibition where the duo has blended their artistic practices and delved deeper into the themes of "togetherness" and "bee society."
