Campus Steneby is a unique environment for education and research in craft and design at Gothenburg University. They offer degrees in BFA in Metal Art, Wood Oriented Furniture Design and Textiles, with focus on the development of technical skills, material knowledge, project planning, as well as history and theory. Their MFA in Applied Art and Designis a two-year programme that invites practitioners to develop their own approach to practice in one of our material disciplines.

"Namesake" is an exhibition featuring teachers and alumni from HDK Valand Metal Art, Campus Steneby. The exhibition showcases a broad and diverse selection of metal-based art, inspired by the forests of Dalsland and the unique study environment at the school - the world's largest academic workshop for metal.
