Emma Hasselblad and Vilda Kvist met in the darkness of January 2022 and have ever since been lighting each other's way. Artistically they have found bridges, detours and intersections together. With the right companion, you have the courage to both meet and go astray in your artistic practice.

In the exhibition "Architecture and the River," two artistic practices come together, where the artists have created works based on inquiries about the notions of place, shelter, and belonging. Through hand-knitted objects, textile artist Emma Hasselblad has explored her material in relation to the body and architecture. Vilda Kvist has crafted ceramic sculptures in an exploration of water as a prerequisite for life and a natural force that humans cannot defend themselves against. Together, they aim to showcase the dynamics that arise when their works converge in the exhibition space. During the exhibition opening, wine and vegetarian sausages will be available on the grill.
