Seminariet ”Body as Measure” var startskottet för Stockholm Craft Week 2024, och handlade om performativa och tvärdisciplinära praktiker inom hantverk och smyckekonst, samt den fysiska aspekten av skapande och bärande. Under dagen diskuterades bland annat socio-politiska fördomar, hur den mänskliga kroppen utnyttjas för ekonomiska syften i marknadsföring, och om de materialbaserade konst- och hantverkspraktikerna, som är centrerade kring kroppen, kan ge nya perspektiv på kroppens roll i dagens samhälle?
