Konsthantverkscentrum (The Swedish Crafts Centre) is the only straight-out membership organization in Sweden, aiming to promote professional Swedish crafts and support their 800 members, as well as strengthen craft as an independent artistic discipline. They are also one of three promoters of Stockholm Craft Week.

During the opening of Stockholm Craft Week 2024, the Craft Prize will be awarded at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern in Stockholm. The winner of the award will receive a prize sum of 20,000 SEK and a solo exhibition at Konsthantverkarna Stockholm. This year, the Craft Prize will be awarded by the main organizers of Stockholm Craft Week: Konsthantverkarna, Svensk Form, and Konsthantverkscentrum.

Together with P.A.N.G embroidery collective Konsthantverkscentrum arrange a workshop in free embroidery for children aged 9–13. On the theme Peace, Love & Understanding conversations that inspire friendship, love, peace and understanding of each other's differences, are held. Each participant receives a frame with stretched fabric and access to a varied range of textile materials such as thread and pieces of fabric for application and more. Stitches, different techniques, and methods are introduced to help creating a textile image. Sewing accessories such as scissors, needles and the like are available to borrow. Participants get to keep their art piece.
