The exhibition "Det ska växa – textila uttryck som offentlig konst" highlights textile works from the Public Art Agency Sweden's collection and production. The inspiration for the exhibition comes from the textile artist Agneta Flock's large-scale sculpture "Det skall växa – Sammetsdjungel" (It Shall Grow – Velvet Jungle), created in 1975 on commission.

Can we move beyond the symbolic in art to design systems of real change while remaining within the realm of aesthetics? How can we rethink our relationship with discarded materials and environmental responsibility? In this breakfast seminar we will delve into the intersection of textile art, craft, and environmental science, featuring artists and researchers whose work demonstrates the potential of textile practices to contribute to planetary health. The seminar will feature Carole Collet, Professor in Design for Sustainable Futures, Central Saint Martins UAL and artists Paola Torres Núñez del Prado and Leif Holmstrand.
