The City Museum’s mission is to increase knowledge of and interest in Stockholm’s history. The City Museum is a knowledge institution that cares for Stockholm’s common memory and cultural heritage. We research and document, inventory, publish and disseminate knowledge about our city. We manage extensive collections that are constantly growing. By understanding how the city has grown and how varied life has been for Stockholmers at different times, we get better opportunities to understand today’s city.

"Silver Lining" is an exhibition featuring works by sixteen artisans in the fields of silversmithing and jewelry art. Each exhibitor showcases their perspective on traditional craftsmanship within silver and how they have developed techniques and language through the material. The exhibition presents craftsmanship as both a paraphrase and an update of what we associate with classic jewelry and silversmithing. In addition to referencing craft traditions, the exhibition offers reflections on the era we live in. "Silver Lining" is curated by Annette Dam (DK) and is a collaboration between Spacious Copenhagen and Galleri Platina.
