LOD is an association of seven silversmiths and goldsmiths with degrees from Konstfack, Sweden's University of Arts, Crafts and Design. They share a workshop, store, and gallery located in Kungsholmen, Stockholm. In the store, you are welcome to experience personalized jewelry and unique objects, all made by hand in the workshop.

In the exhibition "Att läsa föremål" (Reading Objects), members of Galleri Lod present objects and jewellery inspired by books, texts, or information. The written word is set against the object and a different kind of reading emerges. Can you read an object like you read a book? How does the physical material affect the experience of those who take part in the reading?

In connection with the exhibition Att läsa föremål (Reading Objects) at LOD gallery, a public discussion will be held. The artists ask themselves: How are our objects influenced when we draw inspiration from books and writings? Can objects be read? How do viewers and artists perceive the created object? What role do material and physicality play in how we experience the world?
