Gubbängen Art Center is an artist-run collective founded in 2017, to present an alternative to the established art scene in Stockholm. Since the start, they have organized exhibitions, Christmas markets, and artistic workshops in their shared space, which accommodates both studios and a gallery. The group works as a platform to exchange ideas between different artists and creators, with the intension to also serve as a local and accessible creative place.

PÅ LÖPET is a street gallery adjacent to Gubbängen Art Center's premises, where one wall is comprised of newspaper stand frames. During Stockholm Craft Week, the exhibition "Within and Beyond the Frames" is showcased, where Gubbängen Art Center, in collaboration with members of KMK - Konstnärernas Mamma Kollektiv (The Artists' Mom Collective), presents site-specific craft through various artistic practices and materials.
