Lantz/Varghans & Leksell
Designduon Lantz/Varghans består av Ivar Lantz & Elvira Varghans. Tillsammans arbetar de med textiltryck, mönsterformgivning, illustration och grafik. Amanda Leksell är textilhantverkare och formgivare. Hon arbetar främst med väv och screentryck med strävan att hitta färgkompositioner och mönster som tillåter textilierna att ta plats i rummet.

The design duo Lantz/Varghans consists of Ivar Lantz & Elvira Varghans. Together they work with textile printing, pattern design, illustration and graphics. Scissors and cardboard form the basis of their hand-printed textiles and let the craftsmanship shine through in the end result.
Amanda Leksell is a textile craftsman and designer. She works mainly with weaving and screen printing with the aim of finding color compositions and patterns that allow her creations to be present and take up space in the room.

Om • I en färg- och mönsterrik utställning med fokus på vävda och tryckta textilier för rumsliga miljöer ställer designduon Lantz/Varghans ut tillsammans med textilhantverkaren Amanda Leksell.
Om medverkande • Lantz/Varghans är en formgivarduo med bas i Malmö. Duons karaktäristiska arbete med mönster tillämpas på olika områden som studioproduktion av handtryckta textilier, grafisk formgivning och större gestaltningsprojekt med måleri och keramik.
Amanda Leksell är textilhantverkare och formgivare som främst jobbar med rumsliga textilier, i både vävstolen och på tryckbordet. Här eftersträvar hon att hitta spännande kombinationer av färg och mönster för att tillåta textilierna ta plats i rummet.
About • This exhibition is characterised by vivid colours and patterns and showcases woven and printed textiles by design duo Lantz/Varghans and textile artist Amanda Leksell.
About artists • Designer duo Lantz/Varghans is based in Malmö. Their characteristic pattern work is applied on hand printed textiles as well as graphic design and larger artistic works with painting and ceramics. Scissors and cardboard are the core in their creative process of handmade textiles, they like to let the craft shine through.
Amanda Leksell is a weaver, screen printer and designer who primarily works with spatial textiles, both in the loom and on the printing table. She strives to find exciting combinations of color and pattern to allow the textiles to take up space in the room.
